Mission Statement
At Lolo’s Learning Center, we are passionate about creating a nurturing, loving environment where children thrive. It is our mission to support families, while encouraging each child in creativity, exploration, and a lifelong love for learning and Jesus Christ!
Philosophy of Education
Lolo's Learning Center, a full time Christian Childcare Center, offers high quality early childhood education. We believe children are a precious gift from the Lord, each unique with special gifts and talents given to them by God. Psalms 127:3 says, “Children are a gift from the Lord, they are a reward from him.” We provide a loving and nurturing atmosphere right from the start to create a sense of love, trust and security. We inspire children to learn through hands-on, meaningful experiences where learning meets play. At Lolo’s Learning Center we strive for excellence. We know how crucial education is during the early childhood stage. Proverbs chapter 16, verse 21 says this: “The wise in heart will be called prudent, And sweetness of the lips increases learning.” We care so much about the future of our children, thus encouraging learning with our sweet and kind words. So we welcome you to “Start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6.
Our Programs and Curriculum
Our curriculum fosters whole-child growth that is personalized based on each child and their developmental stage. We inspire children to learn through hands-on, meaningful experiences where learning meets play. Experiences are designed to develop: Self-esteem and positive self-image, social interaction skills, self-expression and communication skills, creative expression, large and small muscle skill, Intellectual growth, and so much more. One of the amazing curriculums we will be using is the Zoo Phonics Curriculum. This is a fun way to teach children all about the letters and the letter sounds. Another curriculum we will be using is Handwriting without Tears. This curriculum is amazing because it has many stages to it, so children will be using it throughout the years at Lolo’s Learning Center. Children two and a half years and older will participate in one of the following enrichment classes each day: Bible Time, Creative Arts, Communication and Literacy, Physical Health and Development, and Social and Emotional Development. The most important part about our program is teaching the children about Jesus and his amazing love.
